I’m Richard Jefferson, a creative copywriter. My career started in London over 25 years ago and has taken me as far away as Auckland. I’ve won numerous awards, managed departments, co-owned a successful agency, and since turning freelance I’ve supported agencies and clients across the UK, Europe, America and Asia.

When it comes to advertising, I stick to three principles:

  • I always aim to create clever ideas, but never try to outsmart the audience.

  • I love to play with words, but never overplay them.

  • I help brands discover their voice, then deliver work that speaks volumes.
